No you can use drag and drop. Putting content on PSP:
You need to go to "USB Connection" under the "System" tab on your PSP and connect the PSP to the computer via a USB (the PSP uses a USB mini B). In your PSP there should be a file called PSP and in that files called MUSIC, GAME, SAVEDATA, COMMON, SYSTEM, PHOTO and THEME. (These need to all be in caps) then put Music in MUSIC, Pictures in PHOTO, Games in GAME, Savedata in SAVEDATA, Themes in THEME and COMMON is for other things (e.g. web pages) and SYSTEM is to be left alone.

psp's should not be able of play mp4's(verify your psp instruction manual) yet you could replace the checklist extension of the action picture and then play the action picture on the psp, so which you're arranged to prefer to maintain it trouble-free, (word: you p.c.. a memory card and a USB cable) a million) first get carry of/purchase a video converter for psp (get carry of via using limewire) 2) 2d Get or make a action picture (get carry of a action picture via using limewire) 3) bypass your action picture to the video converter and convert it 4) connect your psp to the computer via using USB cable 5) get the converted checklist and bypass it to the video folder indoors the psp (if u do now no longer understand ho to digital mail me or ask a query on it)

Connect your PSP to your USB cable and cable to your computer. Now open My Computer and click on PSP folder. Under the music icon put your songs .
Also PSP cannot support REAL PLAYER formatted songs.

No software needed...
Connect it up to your pc, with your PSP go to the "home" menu
Scroll left all the way to settings, select "usb connection" (press up once), then turn to your pc...
Go to my computer, select your PSP, go to MSSEMC, Media files then audio... Copy and paste your music then disconnect PSP, and you done!
Hope this helps..
