The venerable Chevy Vega wins, hands down. This car was poorly conceived and poorly produced. The engines were made backwards, with cast iron head on an aluminum block. They forgot to engineer drain holes in the front fenders, and also to install keepers on the front brake caliper pins. At 20,000 miles, you were ready for new fenders and new head gasket, or a new engine. On my Vega, the brake calipers fell right off and were dangling around inside the fender well. Typically, GM did not stand behind any of their design flaws. I applaud Ralph Nader!!!!!
