No, I'd buy a cheeseburger. Because apparently I'd be that homeless person since neither of us have any prospects. And then I'd tell the homeless person to get a job and then take a nap on the sidewalk in a cardboard box.

okay, if i only had a dollar and no prospects.. wouldn't i be homeless, too? i enjoy chatting up hobos, and one thing i've learned from them is that other hobos are either complete competition (enemies) or best friends... they 'claim' trash cans... and if another hobo collects cans on their turf, they are automatically enemies, and will get jumped by the opposing hobo's clique.

in other words, if the homeless person needing the dollar is my friend, then they will understand that i need that dollar myself... and if they are my enemy, then why the hell are they on my turf??? if they aren't on my turf, then i'm unaware of their needing a dollar. so screw them.

i keep the dollar. freaking mcdonald's supports hobo's with their dollar menu, as do taco bell, wendys, del taco, and jib.

I don't know. I'd rather give it to a hungry person or buy a child an ice cream cone.

One time our adult daughter asked a homeless lady if she would like for my daughter to buy her a sandwich or maybe a hamburger. The lady said, "thank you, hon, but no".

No, I would be homeless if all I had was a dollar.

If you mean if I had a dollar in my pocket and there was a guy on the street, I would probably buy him some food with it.

I have before. Where I live spare-changing or "spanging" is a way of life for a certain sub-culture. I'm more likely to give it to a family with kids or a disabled veteran than someone who just wants to buy beer. A lot of the spangers of Arcata (CA) take the money to buy beer, tobacco, and weed with and that just annoys me.

I would keep the dollar for when I am hungry and then go out and create prospects. there's no such thing as "no prospects" unless your'e mentally ill.

Depends, I mean if they look mean, like they are rude to others. Or they look violent. But if not absolutely definetly. I mean it's not all Hobo's faults that they can't afford a house :((
