I shower at least twice a day so this odor is not a result of not showering and keeping my downstairs clean because it is clean ...but what other remedies could I use to stop the odor other than a douche...because I keep hearing that douching is not good so what is?

Everyone is diffrent. It's normal but be prepared for the nasty comments you are about to recive from immature kids.

I mean you could douche but it's not good for you. If you get a yeast infection after (which is normal for some people too) they sell an over the counter cream or pill that can help that.

Clean yourself thoroughly. Get into all of the folds and under the hood of your clitoris. Bacteria can build up and produce a stronger odor. Avoid strong soaps. Rinse thoroughly to avoid getting yeast infections. Some women douche, but it is not necessary if you are healthy. The remnants of your period will make their way out. Use a mini pad to collect it. A douche done incorrectly can alter you ph (acid/alkaline balance) and cause more harm than good.

This is a bacterial odor , douche with vinegar and water and it will stop the odor if it persists the next time go to a GYN DR for a check up,it's not serious just may need little cream to take care of it

I'd say okay, except for the fishy smell. They are selling infection detecting urine sticks in the pharmacies these days. I'd get one and see if anything stands out. Otherwise, I'd just keep myself really, really clean so that others can't detect the odor.
