I was just thinking the same thing.

I don't know why, but Phil isn't impressed with this kid the least bit. He benched him last year for Kwame, when Bynum clearly outplayed him.

Last season Bynum nearly matched Brown's stats of 8 points and 6 rebounds while playing 5 fewer minutes a game! This season he's averaging 13 and 10 in only 29 minutes. Why would he even think of starting Kwame of Andrew is beyond me.

But hey, you know how Phil likes to play mind games with his players.

No doubt, Andrew Bynum will start over Kwame Brown former 1st overall draft pick. He should of never enter the draft. He entered the draft with so much hype, but didn't reach any expectations. Bynum is a beast and will continue to get double doubles and kwame will get injured again and sit on the bench...

i think phil would go back to starting kwame brown, because andrew bynum has already found his groove for the season ( as long as he does not get hurt) and that is an additional fire power from the bench.. he would start kwame just because of his size and phil wants him to improve and become a better player!

but if i were phil jackson, i would ask my GM to trade chris mihm and kwame brown for any athletic center because those two just plain sucks and are always injured!

GO BYNUM!!

If Andrew Bynum loses a single minute of his playing time, someone must have been messing with Phil Jackson's Gatorade. This guy has finally had a that eruption year. Double-Double..what more can you want. You dont decrease playing time from a guy who avgs that especially when hes sub is going to be Kwame Brown.

Of course! Bynum is a beast. The best Laker center since Shaquille O'neal. Kwame Brown should be released or traded so he won't take up minutes and do nothing to help.

Andrew Bynum has been playing excellently this season. He's thriving with the Lakers. He's been hitting double doubles and there's no way that Phil Jackson would cut off this pace.

yes. He's been putting up double doubles almost every night. He's in the groove. If you stop him now, he won't be as good as he is now. You'd stop his momentum. Phil Jackson probably thinks the same way.
