I sprayed my carb down with carb cleaner and now I have smoke out of my tailpipe? Did the carb cleaner cause this? And will it go away?

You didn't mention what kind of car this is. If you did a great job with the spray, you have probably improved the breathing of the engine. Misting in the exhaust is showing this. You have improved vaporization. Also, because of the colder ambient temperatures, most cars tend to smoke from excessive moisture in the colder atmosphere. If you have improved power and MPG, don't worry about it. Make sure that you clean out the PCV valve and hoses as well!!!

the smoke is from the crap that the carb cleanser loosened up interior the carb, and the deposits on the valves themselves. Get it up on the constrained-get right of entry to highway for roughly 10 miles , it extremely is going to all be cleared up by utilizing then!! no, its no longer your head gasket, shoot those autos dont have aluminum heads the two....
