You'd be elite on my little team. I'd love to have someone like you to work with!

I think the best people to ask about making improvements are the ones who are evaluating you. Find out what they think you need to get that scholarship.

Good luck!

Hair pulled back and out of your face (pony tail would artwork nicely). this is merely practice, no longer a gown rehersal or something like that so gown comfortablly. Shorts would be a reliable theory given this is warm climate, additionally, the skirts you would be wearing as a cheerleader are short, so practice in some thing that must be comparable in length to the skirts. reliable tennis shoes, back, comparable to the shoes you will placed on including your outfit. this is what my daughter's cheerleading coach had the females (and adult males) wearing for dissimilar the practices. reliable luck.

Focus on tumbling. I am not sure how old you are but as a college cheerleader I know most squads look for strong tumblers. Make sure you have SBHS, RBHS, tucks, layouts and make sure you can combine them with jump sequences. Also Make sure your jumps have nice height, focus on fundamentals (making sure toes are pointed, etc). Make sure your motions stay tight and sharp and dancing is good. My advice, get back into the gym, make sure your tumbling is strong and you improve your skills while working on new ones. Also, challenge yourself by being a well rounded stunter. I am not sure how big you are but if you are a base, try backing and if you fly try flying with girls and guys and work on partner stunts. It never hurts to be versatile. Other then that just keep doing what you are doing and have fun while you're at it!
