It is a dumb rule. I think that when players get out of hand like Terrell Owens having a sharpie in his sock is an obnoxious, premeditated instance - then that should be called unsportsman like conduct. But when Randy Moss breaks a record in a game that the whole country was watching then he deserves to show emotion. That stupid penalty almost cost us the game. By the way - those refs last night in the Pats/Giants game stunk on both sides.

I don't have a problem with the endzone celebrations, and think they should allow it.
I like that the league doesn't allow long celebrations after plays that don't result in a touchdown, like celebrating a long run by spiking the ball. For those they call a delay of game, and I like that.
No harm in some celebrating after a touchdown, though. Play is stopped, anyway, and they earn the right to do a little dance, pull out a cell phone, or whatever. It's entertaining!

Actually, the NFL is trying to turn back the pages to a time when good sportsmanship was the norm. after all these guys are professionals , scoring touchdowns is expected of them, the players from when football was a sport ,instead of another reality show with time outs for commercial breaks , would have been ashamed and embarrassed by the antics of today's players .

It's part of the game if you ask me. Not like in baseball where they frown on the pitcher pumping his fist too much, this is football. It's high octane adrenaline energy and when these guys get into that end zone they probably get a rush most of us can't imagine. I say let 'em dance, shuffle and back flip if they want. I enjoy seeing it even if its the other team because I appreciate a good play.

In this world of "politically correct", the game of football has been mauled. Celebrating in the end zone, will soon be nothing more than walking back to your sideline and standing there quietly. The rules and regulations committee has gone off the deep end. They are simply determined to take the real fun and spirit out of the game. And of course, they have ego-maniacal officials to enforce it.

It depends. Some times, people go to the extreme. but where do you cross the line? It's kinda hard to say yes to some and no to the others. I like seeing players celebrate; plus I like my Packers to do the Lambeau Leap.

They celebrated back then too. But it wasn't elaborate. Now, if this is in reference to last night ( and I'm kinda getting that vibe ) lol the ref should have just let that one go instead of embarrassing himself on TV "demonstrating" what celebrations look like.

Yes that is garbage.
I miss the victory dances. They are quite amusing and makes the NFL game more entertaining.

TD dances are good- it's great entertainment for the fans.
As long as it isn't something that takes like, 30 minutes, I'm all for TD dances.

too much celebration is unsportman like. so crap like randy moss pullin down his pants is too much cuz of the kids. u wanna be entertained with chad johnson. but he goes to far. that halll of fame jacket was offensive to people cuz one thing hes mockin hall of famers and he isnt even close to hall of fame. if uve ever played football and the other team is winning, ull be on the sideline watching the opposing team "kneel down" but when they do hi fives and stuff like that it pisses u off. same thing with the td too much
