I see He She or, more likely It has made a return to our lovely section this afternoon
Just wondered how everyone here felt about that?
Thought I would give everyone a forum to voice their grumbles and discontents at our very own total waste of oxygen

Have Fun and Enjoy

Let Me put this disclaimer right out there publicly
This quaetion was not
IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, FORM, OR FASHION
Meant to be aimed at Rckets
WHATSOEVER

When I refer to the
"Thumbs Down Troll"
I am referring to whomever it is that goes around in the R&P section handing out thumbs down on Classic Rock question
My guess is that it is most likely a disgruntled teenage MCR fan

I know that a couple of the top people in this section have a major beef with each other ad yes, it's unfortunate HOWEVER This Particular Qustion WAS NOT Meant to be a part of this conflict
As bad as I feel about all of this I have a LOT of friends in this section I have NO WISH to antagonize and I had enough cyber drama to fill a lifetime from My days in Y!A Wrestling
There..I felt I needed to get this point in there

It is really mean.

Open letter to the Thumbs Down Troll:

Seriously, is the best thing you can do with your life go and thumbs down everyone who likes classic rock? That's just mean, dude. Or chick. Whatever you are.

People spend time on those answers. What is your idea of an answer? Research shows that 99% of trolls think a good reply is something like "idk lulz". Eight frickin' characters. I can do that with my pinkie in under 2 seconds.

When someone writes a two paragraph review of a classic rock album, they do not want to have a thumbs down for no reason whatsoever.

Seriously dude.

Or chick.

It's juvenile, stupid, immature, and gives no pleasure except to you.

Go on, thumbs down me, Mr. or Ms. Troll. Just proving your point.

I could give a crap less about the trolls. I just ignore the little SOB's in hopes they will become bored they are not getting the attention they so desire. Those that have been here long enough know there is honor among ourselves and thumbs down are'nt given out. I say to hell with the trolls. May the fleas of a thousand dogs infest their armpits and may the GODZ of Y/A do away with the frickin thumbs down choice and the point system.

It just seems that free-thinking individuals really mess with the mind-set of the troll. Even worse, if you have a definitive opinion and assert it, you stand a much greater chance of getting Trolled. The real pity is that is shows not only how small a world this individual has, it also alludes to how fragile that small world is. Perhaps if that problematic individual took a good grip on that British Steel you're now sporting (see avatar, for those not understanding), there wouldn't BE any thumbs to point down (hee hee).

He/She, sorry IT shouldn't be giving out THumbs Down just for the sake of giving out thumbs down, or because it disagrees with someone's opinion.. I think you should only thumbs up/down whenever it's a question that requires an objective answer (for example, when the answer is a known fact, information, etc..). Then we should be able to give thumbs down if the answers in incorrect.

But i really dont see the point of thumbs up/down for questions like : what are your top 5 rock bands of all time ?

to the thumbs down troll : back off, man ! your thumbs down aren't gonna stop the great answerers from giving great answers.. Get a life

I always find that at least one comes along as soon as I mention Classic Rock bands / artists / songs.

I had 4 the other day because it seems the four songs I had listed didn't fit into peoples definition of 'Rock'.

It's about time some people around here just grew up.

Thanks Darth, I appreciate that. It's always good to converse with people whose brains haven't been ravaged by schizoid paranoia.

I don't think it’s just one person but rather a group of discontented individuals who seem to harbor a lot of anger, bitterness and resentment. Just for the record, I doubt there are many people in here who have received more thumbs-down than yours truly. Do I like it? No, of course not. However, you develop a thick skin and move on. Sometimes I feel as if talking about it in this way is actually a motivator for the trolls to continue their stupidity. The thing they want most is usually attention, so why give them a forum?

In case anyone is gullible enough to believe a certain orange-faced buffoon, I only give thumbs up or nothing at all.

Hola Darth.

I frankly don't care about this guy, I mean troll. Actually, I kinda feel sorry for whoever the troll is, wasting his life giving thumbs down to people regardless of the answer. Not all too surprising though looking at members of sites of Web 2.0 (YouTube, Myspace, etc.).

Im not bo R&P thumb down troll, but id like to say how stupid i think it is, the way people give others thumbs down for having their own opinions, but ive got over caring now anyway. And to the person above who said its probably an MCR fan, you should see the amount of thumbs down, the mcr fans get for just saying they like MCR.

Anyway glad i got that off my chest XD

It was actually worse a few months back, violations and thumbs down were handed out like candy.

But it does sometimes irk me but I think we've all stopped taking thumbs downs seriously now.... But really, some people need to find better hobbies.

And for the troll: You are a booger.

Honestly, Darth, I think it's really sad that someone gets some kind of enjoyment out of going around and handing out all of these arbitrary thumbs-down. It says much more about them than it does about the quality of the answers we see here.

To them, I say stop being so cowardly. As far as I'm concerned, my e-mail and 360 are open so feel free to get in touch with me with any issues you're having...I would be more than happy to talk to you about it.
