Well Coal and Nuclear aren't renewable, and Solar cells are still fairly inefficient and expensive.

I would say B - Wind farms.

As already pointed out, coal and nuclear energy are not renewable. Solar cells are still far too ineffective. Wind farms, while great, are limited to very select regions of the country and could not support 4/5th of the supply for energy.

So....we still need something else that would work. Sorry...

Geothermal--the Earth is a molten lava ball with a thin crust of solids--tap into that forever.

none of the above. there is an energy source that would supply all the energy needs forever. it is converting energy from the heat of the oceans. renewable, inexhaustible, cheap (or will be soon. technology exists now).
