I heard that he retired from the Osborne Brothers group.

I've checked the news articles and web sites but found nothing about Sonny passing..... Unless it happened in the last couple of days, I would say hopefully not.

I don`t think so, I know he retired in 2005.
Bobby still performes and his band is called
Rocky Top Express.
