i want to remove my c drive complety so as to not mess with anymore any help????

Hi. Unplug and remove (if you wish) the C drive. Then move the small jumper on the back of your D drive to "MA".

While it's possible to change the drive jumpers to make your current D drive the first drive, doing so might make your system fail to boot. The BIOS will attempt to boot from the "Active" drive which still needs to be present. If you remove drive C entirely, then this will be a problem. You cannot have two drives strapped as "Master". If you want to make the data on your current C drive available (as the new D drive), it must be strapped as "slave". Even with this strapping some BIOS programs won't be able to boot off "D" drive. Once booted, Windows might also be hard-coded to run off the C drive--not D. No, it's not that simple.

move jumper on the back of the hdd to master and on the oder disk change to slave
