nest year i'll be a senior in high school- but they are building a new school and i am going to go. the senior class is going to be small and it will be a little easier to make teams. i want to try cheerleading but have never done it before. i wanna take tumbling and stuff. do you think ill be good enough come summer to try out

Get into a tumbling class right away and start working on motions, jumps, and tumbling drills at home. You can find those here: http://geocities.com/aescougarcheer/basics.htm

As to whether or not you will make it, it all depends on what level of talent the other people who are trying out have. Since you can't know that for certain, go ahead and give it a try.

Well, you could online to see if their are local cheerleading academies or cheerleading classes that offer tumbling and stunts. I would particully worry about tryout don't be too serious about it, usually school tryout aren't very competive. Just do your best, smile, be lous, and most of all confident you have to be able to do a back hand spring to be in cheerleading as long as you have a confident and great additiude that's what they mostly look for really. :)

have u ever done dance??....or acro??....or gymnastics??....cuz if u have done those u will be a great cheerleader....if u havent ever done those....try some streaches at home to get flexable and ask a friend who no's how to tumble to show u some stuff!!....good luck!! i hope u become a great cheerleader!
