He has stated that he plans to fill in for his wife in the coming election. Thus, it isn't unreasonable to believe that he could be the next elected leader of Pakistan.

So his background and reputation are not only of concern to those in Pakistan, but every country that has ties or an investment in that region!

I don't think it's an embarrassment at all, but good reporting.

You have understand something, in America, that's a good thing! After all, the current front-runner for the US presidency has a husband with a "Shady past".

The byline on that story indicates the AP reporter who wrote it is one Sadaqat Jan, who is a Pakistani. So, I fail to see how Americans can be held accountable for his filing this story.

Unfortunately, in America, sensationalism sells newspapers and attracts more eyeballs. I agree that it is shameful, but I don't feel embarrassed by that headline because I don't agree with or condone sensationalism like that, so I don't take responsibility for it.

yeah, but you have to understand that as soon as you enter the political arena, you are at the constant scrutinization of the media, no matter what the circumstances.

its her son that is 19 going to fill her shoes,,, why would america be embarrased, we had nothing to do with it,,, we gave paki 10s of millions to go get bin laden and musharef did something else with the money,,, so i dont trust him,,, they can all shoot each other over there for all i care
