ok this may sound crazy, but it will work. get some jim beam or jack danials(don't really matter), put in a pan with some pepricka and bring to a boil. pour some in a glass and drink it. the rest that is left over put into a bottle and put in the fridge. it will work. i am not a drinker, but when i get a bad cold i do this and it takes it away quickly. i meen don't drink it like a fish, but drink a glass every 8 hours if needed. i wish u the best and hope u get better soon.

Theraflu. It tastes so nasty but you will feel soooo better. I have asthma and every time I get a cold, I end up in the hospital. It happened just a couple weeks ago in fact. I took Theraflu and I felt so much better so fast.

Paracetamol, a warm drink and an early night, a good slug of brandy always helps my hubby sweat his colds out.

Drink leters of orange juice and honeyed tea. Vix works a charm, and always blow your nose, just wiping it on your sleeve (gross, I know, but more adults than you know do it) doesnt help, bacteria will just stay on your body. Get lots of shut eye, and just keep a positive mind on getting better. Good luck!xx

some suggestions:
rest, aspirin, lots of (warm) liquids (chicken soup really is the best), vitamin c, garlic, ginger, long steamy showers/baths (to clear out the mucus), keeping yourself wrapped up warm so you perspire ...
if you have to go to work w/o getting better, take something like alka-seltzer cold and flu, it will help you keep going.
wash your hands often and always cover your mouth when you cough, don't want to infect others.
