I've been collecting the DC series of comics for my kids called 52. It began with issue 52 and each week it counts down (51, 50, etc.) Anyway, issue number 21 has the wrong date printed on it. Issue 22 was dated November 28th so issue 21 should be dated December 5th. Instead it has October 5th and then issue 20 picks up with the right date of December 12th. Since I believe DC imprinted Oct instead of Dec does it add value to it?

It just depends on how many got into general circulation......if a lot of people got them, they aren't worth much...in fact more people probably got the one with the wrong date on it, since it was first printing and the series had a following by then....the ones with the correct date probably are worth more because there are fewer.

PS. I have a copy of it, my son does and so does my hubby. Aaron at Odyssey Comics says tons were sold. Not worth more than what you paid for it originally is what I mean.....and since the 52 series really isn't all that good, I would say that they will go down in value, if anything.

Sorry, man.

Really the only time an "error" in a comic book becomes more valuable is if it is related to the content, such as say a panel within the story was removed or changed in a later printing.
Unlike trading cards, comic errors just of interest to most collectors since it's what goes on inside the comic as opposed to cosmetic mistakes.
File that issue of 52 away and don't dwell on it. I don't think it's going to make any difference as to it's value.

Contrary to popular belief it doesn't, unless the mistake was an extremely small lot. Printing errors, such as ink running out or double images will devalue the comic. Misprints such as yours would depend on how many actually made it to stores.

Yes, they do go up in value - slightly. It depends on allot.
1- Is it a major name, like Marvel, DC, or a smaller company that is well liked ? 2- How big is the mistake ? It is a very vague question, and allot of variables. But over the answer is yes.

Kinda It Matters how big the mistake is. like if they put the wrong word its not that big. like one time i got a leg magazine for my nephew and it said joker is going to let out all his gas when it was supposed to say joker is going to let out all his laughing gas.
