Note that when Koji Igarashi took over production of the Castlevania series he retconned a number of the games and removed them from the official Castlevania canon. Some examples of this are the Circle of the Moon GBA game and the early Game Boy games.
*Edit: This list is missing Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin for the DS.
