Hm, the icon of the 21st century... I would have to point at whoever is currently involved in the development of artificial intelligence, and will eventually produce the first, working, serial-produced bio chip. We don't know who that person is yet, or when it's going to happen, but it'll certainly be within the 21st century. That'll be the day when mankind goes bio chip, and it'll change everything.
A small Rosetta Stone, I know.
But it was never meant to be easy to find, was it?

well, the reason the Rosetta stone was so helpful in deciphering ancient Egyptian culture is because it was inscribed in three languages. One of the languages was known to scholars so they were able to use the known text to decipher the meaning of the symbols of the unknown text. Then they were able to use the symbols they learned from this stone and they knew their meanings on other inscriptions.they then worked out the rest of the what the other symbols meant. So for our modern culture ,I would have to say it is the 3 language warning on the inside of my dryer that will be the roseetta stone of the future.
