When the pats fell behind by 12, did any of you at that point think that the game was over and the pats were going to lose or was their faith that in a matter of time Brady will play at his best, getting the team back in the game, including those 2 long pass attempts to Moss, successful on the second one?

Nope...Just waiting for the string of calls that the Refs made which would let them win. I will directly make a list in just a few minutes which proves my point.

EDIT:
1. The poking in the eye, which should have been an automatic ejection. ANY INTENTIONAL BLOW TO THE HEAD is an automatic ejection...which they did not follow and it clearly showed this in the replay. They didn't even lose the first down because of it!

2. When the Patriots guy tripped and fell in the Giants bench, it was clear no one was around him in the instant replay. We have Tivo and it was apparent to us!

3. The Patriots were holding via the neck and the ref was directly to the side of them and never called anything.

4. The Patriots did countless delay of games and the refs refused to look at the replay or call them on it.

5. When the Patriots WERE called on something, the penalty was STILL in their favor because they were no longer up against the goal line...which made it easier for them to maneuver.

It is obvious that any other team doing these calls would have had major repercussions on them losing downs and major yardage along with losing players. But it never happened with the Patriots.

I am not saying that the Patriots are not a good team, but that is what makes this all the sadder, because they don't need to cheat to win. That first game should have been forfeited due to their cheating, but wasn't. You have to ask if this is all coincidence or the fact that the NFL obviously want them to win.

The Pats are/were never out of any game. It almost seemed the game was scripted for a captive audience. Just like the Eagles and Ravens games, the Pats are a patient team and cease their opportunity when the other team makes mistakes. In the games where the Pats needed to catch up from behind, their defense frustrate the opposing offense to commit stupid game changing mistakes like major penalties or create turnovers. This drama unfolds usually in the 4th quarter with 5 minutes or less in the game.

Its almost as if the NFL gods planned all this to capitalize on the marketing opportunity.

Honestly,I was concerned that they were behind by 12 points. However,I kept the faith that they could come back. After all, they have come back from behind before. The Patriots offense is high powered and it is much different now that it has Randy Moss,Donte Stalworth, and Wes Walker. Tom Brady is just great under pressure. The Patriots really wanted that 16-0. Brady just hates to lose. He's highly competitive. Just look...he's never missed an NFL game yet. That says a lot right there. Brady to Moss is just awesome.

I believe that the PATS(and I'm no fan of the patriots, I'm a cowboys fan) played four quarters of football, and earned that win. The Giants only played three. If the Giants would have recovered that onside kick maybe there would have been a bad mark on the Pats record. Besides Bill cheating against the Jets. Good luck in the playoffs you will need it. There are alot of very talented teams going this year even the wildcard guys are looking good.

i have to admit as a pats fan i did get kind of nervous at one point, i even had family members and friends calling me asking whats wrong with my team, and i did start screaming NO NO! when brady threw moss that same pass moss dropped seconds before, but still i knew brady would pull it off because the pats work great under pressure and they know how to close out a ball game

For anyone who had watched the previous few weeks played by Eli, knew that he was the type of quarterback who chokes in big situations and that pick off late in that game that allowed the patriots to go ahead and go up by 2 scores, was exactly what I expected. They did it to PayMe Manning earlier this year too. The defence bends but never breaks when is has to. This wasen't the first come back this year and most likely not the last year either. Good luck to the Patriots in the next month or so and finally put an end to the Dolphins and thier champagne celebrations.

No, the NFL has been pushing for the 16-0 for a while now. I figured if the Pats couldn't pull it off the refs would do it for them. The refs did help with some very bad calls. But Eli's inexperience helped the Pats in the end the most. He ran the hurry up offense like he was only down 3 points.

If Indy wasn't safe with a 10 point lead, there was no way I was ready to say the Giants were going to win with 12 minutes left and leading by 12.

I keep telling my friend I won't be comfortable until the Giants are up by two touchdowns with a min to go in the 4th. You can never get comforable when playing great teams. I think everyone knew the Pats were going make a run to get back in the game. They did and the Giants couldn't stop it.

To me, it looked like the Ravens, Eagles, and Colts game. Those games, I thought they might lose. But this was a case of "I've seen this before", I knew the Patroits would come back and win because there was just too much time left in the game. That 12 point lead was with like 5 minutes left in the 3rd quarter.
