MY boss does this but I think she does it out of ignorance and not to be funny....told a lady that a friend had breast cancer and her vasectomy went well....( mastectomy?) She doesn't say ect. when the reads it she says "and so on" because she says that is what it means...instead of going to staples or office depot she says she goes to office staples...ugggg Among numerous other verbal mistakes...I am used to it so never correct her , it can be funny at times...I just don't let on just have a bit of a inside giggle.

I have a few words that I don't say to be funny, I just have trouble saying them. For example, aluminum and cinnamon. I have trouble w/ m and n's, when they're close together, so when I say them, they just keep rolling like it comes out, "ciminiminimon". My family is used to it, but the girls at work laugh and try to trick me into saying it. I can sing it, but I think that's because I sing each syllable individually and don't try to stick them altogether. Also, instead of mirror, I've always said, "mirrow". In that case I actually thought that was how to say it, and learned it that way, and never knew it was wrong until I got it wrong in a spelling test when I was in the ninth grade. Now it's just become a habit to say it that way.

I personally have my own language! If I were brilliant and had started this when I was young like J R R Tolkien , maybe I could have written a book around it! What a wonderful idea he had! Hey, it's your world... what ever blows your skirt up, or gets you a new steely marble!!! I love marbles! I keep collecting them in hope that someday I will actually find mine!
use~ta~could... only i run that all together!
I resemble that remark... it's a memorex moment, as I will never remember this, only I forget the camera!

I have several that I use on purpose, but can't think of one at the moment. The best one I ever heard was a man talking about a book written by Lucille Ball. He said it was published post-humorously. I never did figure out if he said it on purpose!

I say the phrases 'will you don't?' and 'land o' goshen'.
I use a lot of wrong words and make up some of my own too. My daughter always laughs at them, so I keep using them.

Had a coworker who could not get this one right "hook, line and sinker" she always said hook, sink and ladder. Now I find myself saying it her way because it sounded so funny.
