Many of us made some resolutions and postulated aims for 2007. How many of yours came true?

I had 3 resolutions:
1. To add at least one new country to my been-to list. That did happen - Malaysia.
2. To learn how to bake 'beskuit'. Didn't happen.
3. To climb a mountain in Borneo, called Kinabalu. Here I need a couple of days break. Whereas in SA the annual breaktime is at the end of the solar calendar (Jan-Dec), here in Taiwan it is at the end of the lunar calendar (early Feb). According to the 'year' I'm bound to here I still have time for that. My plane ticket is already booked to Borneo and if all goes well, I'll be scaling the slopes of Mt. Kinabalu before the end of January.

I also had a couple of, hopefully good, surprises toward the end of the year.

I recall coming into 2007 with the prospect of becoming a nun looking very attractive. LOL! I promised myself to ensure that I worked hard and of course....It was harder than I had anticipated but it was all good. The second half however was a little 'troublesome' with a few setbacks and a few unexpected (but good) events. I ended up not keeping any resolutions and henceforth, I,m not making any this year. Life is just a bit too unpredictable for me. LOL! What about you?

I didn´t make any, I knew that I would either forget them, or it would be impossible for me to stick to it. I´ve learnt out of experience. Just take each day as it comes - can´t go wrong with that !

How about you?

*Edit*

Oh, I am making one resolution: I plan to remain addicted to Yahoo Answers.

I have lost all my extra weight - and put it back on.
I have made some money, lost some money.
I have stopped smoking.
I have been a reasonably good mum.
I have been an ok daughter and sister.
But I have learned... learned so much. And all of this is going to help me in 2008.
I have achieved things I have not planned, and it is going to make the world's difference.

So... some came true. But for 2008 - I am armed with a lot more ammo than 2007. And I'll be blazing away. ;-)

I have learned not to make any resolutions anymore. have never kept them at all. If I want to do something, I do it without making empty promises to myself.
