I'm 12 years old and I'm ordering some bras online because the stores are too far away (I live out in the country) so anyway I have a couple of bras that are 32, but those are getting too small, so I'm buying some. I did some bra size calculators and ended up getting 60DD, and I DON'T think that's quite right (or even close).

Anyway, those bra calculators make my brain hurt so here are my measurements:

For my frame size, I got 27.5 inches
For my breast measurement, 30 inches.

So please help me because I'm killing myself trying to figure it out!!!

Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!

Ignore "online bra calculators". I ranged from a 34A to a 42DDD when I was in actuality a 38J cup.

Find a JCPenney, Sears, Nordstroms (NOT victoria secret) and get professionally sized.

How I learned to do bra measurements is like this:

Under breasts, round up. Add four to an even number and five to an odd number. That is the band size. In your case, you would be a 32 band size.

Take measurement around breasts and subtract from band size. Here is the cup size:

Less than 1" difference: AA or AAA cup
1" difference: A cup
2": B
3": C

Basically, get professionally sized. Or just go out and start trying on bras until you find one that is comfortable. But try band size 32.

Here's a few things to keep in mind. The measurement around your ribcage equates to the value 32/34/36...

Using the standard 27.5 + 4 = 31.5. Rounded up you need a 32 around your ribcage. In fact this may be a little large for you.

Usually, when bras are sized you subtract the ribcage measurement from the brest measurement. So for you, we are getting 30 - 32. OR -2. With this, you may consider a AAAA or AA.

While this is possible, I'd suggest that you get someone to help you with the measurement so that you get something that fits right. Especially since you say what you are wearing today doesn't fit.

What size are you wearing today?

I've been buying the wrong size bra for years! I went to a "bra" store to buy a bra one day. The woman told me she had to see it on me first. I was a bit shy but I agreed. I am so happy with the results. I would suggest going to a small bra store in your area and allowing the salesperson to fit you. You'll be surprised to see your correct size. My back feels more supported as well. Good luck.

You just put in your measurements and it calculates for you.
