Can anyone tell me if sperm can interfere when you take a pregnancy test,or doesn't it matter.I took one today and it said negative but was worried in case haveing sex the night before would not give an accurate answer.

sperm won't interfere with a pregnancy test!

Sperm absolutely does not interfere with a pregnancy test! The test checks to see if you have HCG (pregnancy hormone) in your urine in order to confirm a pregnancy. Try another test tomorrow and make sure to use FMU (first morning urine) GL!

No it won't. You are testing your urine, which comes out of your bladder, not your vagina. You are testing for the pregnancy hormone which is not in sperm so therefore could not interfere with a pregnancy test.
