i m 27 n we've bn ttc. My cycles r long 34-40 with pcos.I m not been on any medications till now for pcos. Thought to try for few months and then see a Dr.I thought to try this month and if no success, then i thought i would see the Gyno/OB. I read that women with pcos generally dont ovulate by themselves. So i recently bought an OPK(first time) to see whether i ovulate by myself. But fortunately yesterday for the 3rd test itself i fould i was ovulating. But unfortunately my husband n I had a small quarell(that too 'coz of having sex yes'day night). He said he was having some important work on monday and is not interested last night(he too wants baby but not much serious as I am)I fould + on OPK yesday i.e., 29th dec and we ttc on 24th and 27th. Now though i am in my most fertile days, we r not talking to each other.and i m hurt that he is not cooperating at this time.and dont wanna miss this chance.Pls tell me whther there r any chances to get pregnnt on my TTC dates. Thanks

Sperm can survive in the right environment anywhere from 2-5 days. However, I would do anything possible to make up with and seduce my DH just in case (besides, it's not good to stay angry at each other). Are you still using your OPK's today? If still positive then go make up with your honey asap! GL!!!

Hi there

I understand how important this is to you, as i too suffer from pcos and have been trying to concieve for almost 15 years. Its always worth a go, when your on your most fertile days - but it dosent mean it will end in pregnancy - even for a person who has no medical problems.

im currently under a specialist doctor, who has told me to ttc every three days, as the sperm can last this long inside the female body.

ttc with pcos is different for different people, some have problems and some conceive quickly. It always worth looking for some specialist group websites to help you along.

as with your partner, is he happy to have a baby at this time? also it can be quite off putting for a guy to just ttc when the time is right, than doing it as part of general loving.

telling the very fact continually helps possibly he's purely shy and desires sometime, in case you like him you need to no longer say you do no longer with the aid of fact now he will keep clean of you. To him that's going to seem such as you performed a trick on him in order that as which you would be waiting to break his heart and get satisfaction out of it. Telling him which you probably did no longer like him grow to be the dumbest element you have finished. the acceptable element you're able to do is communicate over with him in man or woman approximately it, confront him and don't be scared, in case you circumvent eachother without resolving it that's going to easily be awkward. the toughest element is many times the acceptable element .

Maybe you should talk to HIM not US
Apologise, even if not "your fault" as it takes 2 to argue
Failing that, wait till end of cycle and test I'm afraid

Generally, sperm are alive and well for 72 hours so you might get pregnant anyhow.
