s**** the local community - this is the UK and our law should be good enough for everyone....
what about the non-muslims caught up in this community?
what laws would they have to live by?
the pity is that the country has allowed these communities to become so large and separate

Absolutley not. The law of the host country should be upheld above any other laws or customs. What is currently happening where authorities are turning a blind eye to the practice of sharia law is not tolerence, it is more a case of surrender to a wholly different culture.
Muslims should be doing everything they can to assimilate themselves in the UK, not further divide themselves from the rest of the population.
The real question should be, do muslims have any intention of ever assimilating, or is at all part of a larger plan to control the countries they live in by first manipulating the host nations tolerance and then taking over completely by simply out numbering us, as suggested by Colenal Gaddafi, who said the 50 million muslims in Europe are doing by stealth what islamic armies for centuries could never do, they are taking over Europe.
It starts with a street, then a village, then a town and before you know it whole cities could potentially become islamic.
Where will it end ???

No of course not, I will take this like several of the other answerers as a wind-up, but there has been talk that an element of sharia law should be legalised within Muslim family courts to deal with purely personal matters such as divorce and inheritance which have no impact on the wider community. Even this may be debatable though and I'm not sure it's what all Muslims want.

No way.
Why should the minority of non-muslims in that area have to live under Sharia Law?
This is the UK. We are not a Sharia State. We never will be. Muslims who wish to live under Sharia Law must move to an Islamic country.

No, absolutely not.
The UK needs to stand fast for freedom and truth. We have seen the results where Sharia Law is practiced officially or even unofficially; "honor" murders, with the murderers given little or no punishment; violence against those who speak their minds; forced marriages; beatings and other outrages.
In places where the authorities try to accommodate radical Muslims they end up deleting the Holocaust from history books and forbidding cute piggie ornaments.
Real Islam is another matter of course. There are millions of Muslims who can live happily in a country like England without revising history or hating pigs.

Sharia Law in this Country...we live in the British Isles and we have our own laws, which if you dont like it well why dont you all get yourselves out, and take all the rest of the scum back with you. A lot of bleeding parasites to boot, and now you want your own laws, well to hell with you all....you are not wanted here, either with your laws or anything else you would like changing. Its every day you want this and that well guess what you aint going to get it...so clear off to where you came from and your ancient wants that go back before the Stone Age. You have no intention of bringing yourselves into the modern world so hop it, back into your stupid and ancient beliefs.

We are talking about under 3% of the British population. Sovereign power goes hand in hand with the universal law of the land. No one group can degrade national power in order to practise barbarism, not even Labour. Countries that practise Sharia are either in the process of destroying themselves or commit crimes against humanity as the norm IE Afghanistan, Lebanon, Iraq, Palestine, Saudi Arabia etc.
To even contemplate handing over any part of Britain to complete anti Jewish fascists would turn treason into political incompetence.

if there were not large concentrations of ethnic groups we would all be a lot better off
some schools have pupils that are all children with English as their second language - what a ridiculous state of affairs, to allow these ghettos to develop
there is no need for integration when interpreters are provided for the many non-English speakers.....
sharia law - delivered by some elder in the community - that would be something to look forward to in communities with imans encouraging terrorism (by promoting terrorist literature and ideology - some of these in Birmingham UK)

Because our country's legislation is drawn up by the principal of the separation of church and state. And Shariah law is an archaic, backwards form of law that contradicts all aspects of our society - go live in the Middle East. Compare British law from around 500 years ago and modern day Shariah law practised in the Middle East and there is little difference.

Absolutly not.......if muslims and such like want to live in this country, then they should abide by the laws and ethics of this country. Some of their doctrines go against the grain of British society. As they are increasing in number everyday, if this was allowed to happen, these so called Sharia law communities, would quite simply increase in number, leaving no room for the "white" man. Ask yourself this question.......if we were to go over and live in Muslim countries, would they allow us the same privelage.
