I know about the false hpt results. the first hpt i took said +. It wasnt very dark but it turned within 4 mins of taking the test so its not like i waited 30 mins and it said+ from an evaporation line. can an evaporation line appear that fast? am i prego? the next test i took about an hour later and it was invalid and the next one i took was about an hour after that and it was -. then i went to birthright and took in my first morning pee and peed there and they both came up -. i dont know what to think. please help me figure this out. i want more than anything to have a second wonderfull joy in my life.

your not pregnant... the first one came back pos because you waited so long for the results...i think most test result are only accurate for a certain amount of time after you take it...maybe 15-20 mins and you say it was + 30 mins later

If you got a negative with FMU then I would guess you aren't pregnant. Were all the test the same brand/sensitivity? You might want to test in the morning with a First Response. Whatever result you get with that is what I would trust.

I would say that the first one is the one that counts. The one that was invalid could just have been a defective test. The one that was negative, well it could be because it was not your first morning urine and therefore did not have enough hcg in it. I would retest tomorrow morning.

A positive is a positive ...You can only have false negatives. If you really want to be sure take another one in a few days with the mornign urine but if you got a + you can pretty well say you are pregnant!!
