I like the Cars plenty. There was a battle between west coast (the Knack) and east coast (the Cars) when "My Sharona" and "Just What I Needed" came out at about the same time. Needless to say, the east coast won! The Cars were a far superior band (and Ric Ocasik, scary though he may look, is a really nice guy. I used to see him all the time at a park in Chestnut Hill, which is outside of Boston. He didn't put on any airs at all.)

Most definitely. The Cars have to be in the top three greatest new wave bands of all time. My five favorite songs include:
1. Dangerous Type
2. Moving in Stereo - this song was part of the greatest scene from another pop culture classic Fast Times at Ridgemont High. All I can say 25 years later is WOW!
3. Cruiser
4. Touch & Go
5. Shake It Up

Although Rick Okasek is one of the most scariest looking men I've ever seen (I think he may be related to howard stern and Marilyn manson??), the band was pretty cool!

yes i do, i love the mitsubishi galante and the honda acc... OH u meant the musical group headed by Ric Ocasek! Yes, my favorite song (of many) is "You Might Think" by them
