no....I listen thoughtfully and then I ask them if I can give them a hug
then a cute, fluffy hamster holding a sharp stick crawls out of my mouth and I ask them if they want to hug the hamster, too

When its my kids, yes I do. They just love asking the same question over and over in the hopes that my response will somehow change.
