I changed the battery still nothing... The dash gauges will not even work nor does the instrument lights... The only things that work are my headlights and radio...

Suggest you check all wiring, especially battery to starter and battery to ground. A Haynes or Chilton's auto repair manual will be invaluable, around $20.00 at any parts store, and should help get you going. Good Luck with it.

You can try checking all of your fuses and even your fusable link. Your fuseable link is not to be confused with your fuses. I t is located in the wiring harness close to the battery,it will appear somewhat large but has many different shapes. If that is not the problem try having your starter diagnosed. Many people think that because a car will not crank it is automatically the battery or alternator. lol

Clean battery cables and make sure that there is
no corrosion where the cable and terminal end
attach. A Chev. should have a 10gage jumper
wire on the ground cable near the battery,this would keep your lights on and radio on.
