im trying to network my laptop and notebook can u help?

my laptop and notebook r on the same router but i cant seem to network them so i can transfer files from my desktop to my notebook what am i doing wrong?

You just need to enable 'Printer & File Sharing' on BOTH computers. :)

Are both your pc's in the same workgroup? Then just enable file and printer sharing.
