Most that I've heard of or seen use a simple warded lock, which are some of the most straightforward to open. This is for the models with integrated locks.

There is another style which uses a separate padlock on the belt. Those are as diffucult to pick as the padlock that's chosen to secure them.

Depends on the girl wearing it.
