ipod touch help...plzz?

i am thinking about an ipod touch with my birthday money.....if anyone has one can you plz explain how you use the internet. such as.....routers and internet conection, and how you use internet ...plz nd thnx

So simple i own one too.Good choice.

1. The ipod uses wireless like an laptop has or a pc, if you have a wireless router in your house its a bonus. If not you will need one in order to use one within your house. You have the option to turn the wireless on and off in the settings on the ipod.

As long as your within a wireless area you will be able to connect to a wireless network. All you need to know is the password which is set by the person's network if its secured, if not you just connect. It automatically recognises then everytime you walk into that wireless area network.

Its not hard, if your out and about and want to surf the net remember iyou may have to pay for use of wireless areas when your out and about.

It is wi-fi so you have to be near a wifi with a password you know or it will be open touching a place where you can type a key board will pop up and clicking on links will open up a new page or take you there. I got one for my bar-mitzvah I love it.

The internet is Wi-Fi meaning you will have to have a wi-fi enabled gateway or router. This also means your internet will ONLY work around your house (Not everywere like the iPhone)

For my iPhone all i had to do to get on the internet is enter my WEP password. (which i set myself)

It will automatically scan for wi-fi signals, after you enter the password your set.

iPod touch... however the Nano's have a digicam, so I woudn't say they suck. and that they arrive in distinctive colorings too... i admire the iPod touch considering you could acquire video games and track anyplace there is wifi, and the video games save me amused for the time of loooong journeys
