I'm excited about being pregnant,i found out a couple of days ago,my question is because i'm only 5 weeks,how small is the fetus now?

Congratulations. I am pregnant with my second. The size of the embryo at 5 weeks is 1/2 inch or less but its organs, for the most part, are functioning or well on their way at this point and muscles and bones are beginning to develop.
Go immediately and buy "What to expect When You're Expecting". There's a reason its the most popular and widely read book on this subject. Also, "The Girlfriends Guide to Pregnancy" is great. Get you scientific/medical information from "What to Expect", but the "Girlfriend's" books are so much fun to read at this time.

There is a great site that will send you a weekly email on the progression of you baby. It is SUPER COOL!!!!!!!!! I am 15 weeks right now and dont remember much but here's the link to the site. On the right hand side it says "Your pregnancy week by week' sign up for that and check it out... I look forward to that email every friday!

Your baby is still considered an embryo and very small. Go to babycenter.com and sign up there for weekly updates. They will send you how big your baby is each week and what all is being developed!
