It's a difficult task, I know. Please tell me why it is your favourite.

If you don't know who the Who is please do not answer this question. I don't want to hear about you favourite song from another band. If I wanted that I would've asked about that band. The Who is a band that became popular in the 60's and remained popular throughout the 1970's. They have released a few albums since Keith Moon's untimely death, but none were as good as when they had Moon the Loon.

See Me, Feel Me (Touch me, Heal me)
I'm Free (and freedom tastes of Reality)
Behind Blue Eyes (nobody knows what it's like!)
The Who did angst in all its forms exceedingly well - so much tenderness and longing (e.g. See Me, Feel Me), rage and longing (Behind Blue Eyes) and messianism (I'm Free). Hey, roots of Emo?!?

Yes, Guess Who is my favorite band, but The Band Who did it Ten Years After for me had an Electric Light Orchestra, but that's all about the Byrds and The Bee Gees, the Beatles, Monkees, Crickets, Eagles, Yardbirds, Turtles, and of course the Animals in general. I hear there is a lot of Traffic in Boston, Chicago, Kansas, and Asia, but of course in Asia I would be considered a Foreigner. I wish you were here on the dark side of the moon, but I realize that sometimes I just have to Let It Be.

I've been a big The Who fan for over 30 years now. My favorite would probably be "Behind Blue Eyes" but pretty much anything off the "Who's Next" album I think is there best work, followed closely by "Tommy".
These two albums bring back some really great memories from my past. Some not so great ones too, but mostly great ones.

Won't get fooled again.
I guess it has the most energy and i love the sound of the angular organ with LFO oscillation and awesome guitar chords. I think i sums up The Who's sound perfectly.
Is it just me or are some of your answers coming from toddlers?
