I don't race too often but my car is all stock right now
92 civic cx
pretty slow
concerned about the high mileage engine
a friend recommended a new intake for me
should i get a short ram since i dont race and run my RPM hella high or anything

well heres the question. does it rain where you live at?

if it rains then you should get an air-bypass valve so you don't suck up water aswell. Short ram sucks because it is sucking air from the engine bay which is hot. The cold air intake sucks are from the outside of the vehicle closest to the ground where its coldest. So get cold air.

Hi. The cold air intake has the advantage of picking up less debris, especially with a K&N. But any improvement would depend on how restrictive the stock intake is. My opinion.
