The doctor told me in November that I have a cyst. I go back wed. for another ultrasound. I have PCOS and was put on Provera to stop and start my bleeding until the 14th when I have a hysterOSCOPY. The past 2 months I have had extemely heavy bleeding ( I usually do but this is alot for me). I never have a normal cycle. I have gone a year straight on it before, so I know what blood looks normal for me. The past 2 months though it has been different. It looks real watery. Almost like water with food coloring. Has anyone else experienced this? what is causing it? I test my blood sugur occasionally because diabetes runs in my family. The other day I wasn't feeling well so I tested it. The blood looked the same way then.

I think you should either call your doctor or sometime insurance companies offer a 24 hour nurse help line you could call for medical advice on the situation...

I have fibroid which cause heavy bleeding as well I found the following books helpful...they also talk about cyst.

Sounds like fresh blood, rather than old lining. I'd think it's the Provera--it's giving you a powerful dose of progesterone that your body isn't used it.
