To me it is a girls name. Although, there are many names now that are used with both genders. IE... Renee, Leslie, etc...

I do not like the name Mallory for a boy. I think it might give the kid some problems later in life. I do like the name Taylor for a boy or girl. If Mallory is a family Sir name it might work.

Mallory is a girl's name. Use it as a middle name.
