They say you should go to an emergency room if it happens. Is it a bad thing to have wood for 4 hours? I was thinking if I was a guy with E.D. a four hour erection would be like heaven LOL!!!

I am a nurse .... an erection that continues that long is usually considered priapism, a condition that can be chronic or acute. In either case the erection is sustained by blood entering the cavernosa, or spongy erectile tissue, and becoming trapped there by increased blood pressure and by a "valve" effect of the erectile tissue. If an erection is maintained for that long then blood flow to the male genitals can be compromised, causing tissue damage and further medical problems.

I think we need to be carful...u know that other one caused BLINDNESS...its not worth it....not worth it risking your health. Be Careful!!!
