My husband and I got into a really bad arguing fight last night..I got so mad I hit him with the phone but that was all the physical it got. Do you think because I was so upset I am going to have a miscarriage? I am 6 weeks pregnant. I left shortly after and went to a motel and was able to calm down for the rest of the night. Im just worried I am going to miscarry now? Has anyone else ever had bad fights and not misscarried?

Hun its your hormones making you so angry i used to get like this in the early weeks with my OH he used to have to learn when to back off or it would get physical on my part but once my hormones settled down Ive been much better at one point i thought i needed anger management
it all worked out ok my baby is still inside me alive and kicking
i don't think it will cause you to miscarry but you do need to try and stay calm as stress and upset is not good for you or your baby

in fact i was worse with my last pregnancy and i gave birth to a girl having a boy this time its been totally different
i was very hormonal
you just need to tell your partner to back off when you fell like your going to blow your top
leave the room until you both have calmed down

yes i have and not just once but many many times and even few days before i gave birth, i also had a fight with him when i was laying on the hospital bed just few hours before giving birth, i was always emotional because i felt he didnt understand what i was going through and the pain that i was in,

so yes you will be fine and you can only miscarry due to medical complications or if something really really hard hit you or fell on you.

stay strong and avoid conflict. this also will help.

good luck and all the best.

My and my husband had arguements constantly and I kept going into labor early and had my daughter 6 weeks early. Fighting is not good. And you really should not hit, how long do you think he will put up with that? I wouldn't for one second. I don't care what people do, there is never a reason to hit. Walk away. And don't use your pregnancy as a reason to be nasty.

Well, just take it easy from now on. I don't think this will lead to a miscarriage, but if you keep stressing.. that might. So just take it easy. Try to work things out calmly with ur husband instead of the whole yelling and stuff. If you are still double minded, see a doctor.

You probably wont, people have been in worse situations while pregnant and everything was fine, car accidents, natural disasters, etc... You really do need to stay away from very stressful situations though, especially ones where it gets physical like it did last night.
