Not enough information to give any sort of an intelligent answer here. Do you need to know how to lock, unlock, install one, what????

Bathroom locksets typically have a small hole in the outside knob. If someone locks it from the inside, just poke a stiff wire (coat hanger) ice pick, whatever will fit into the hole and it will unlock the door.
I don't know if that is what you wanted to know, but now you and everybody else just learned something. See? It was worth getting out of bed today!

There alternative latches which lock the handles of UK latches, and internal bolts with a display outside - both have connecting bars for override.
