I feel a bit messed up at the moment. Due to the nature of my business,
I was off Sat 22nd and Sun 23rd worked 24th, off 25th and 26th, worked 27th and 28th. Off 29th and 30th, worked 31st then off 01.01.08
I don't know whether I am coming or going or have just been!

Yes, it got pretty crazy at work, some people took off on their vacations, then you had this day off, 1/2 here or there and worked this day and not another. It was a mess to keep track of who was where and when. But now I am retired and don't have to worry about that anymore.

I work tomorrow, but only half day from 7 AM to 11 AM. Then my friend and I are going to a movie and an early dinner. I hope to be home by 6 PM. I don't like to be out late on New Year's Eve. Boy, have I turned into an old fuddy duddy!

Been there brought the t-shirt, know just what you mean, used to work all sorts of shifts, earlies, lates, over nights, you name it.

BUT I have just taken early retirement, and I do not have to get up to morrow and go to work, I am actually hoping it snows or rains and I can stay in my snug little bed, and wait for a nice cup of tea in bed. Sorry did not mean to rub it in, but waaaaahhhhoooooo....! Happy New Year x.

Oh yes, I have to work from 8:00am - noon. End of the year reports to print and file rotation...and customers waiting for the last minute to get their recorded documents done before 2008. It will be busy!!

No, I go back on New Year day at 10 o'clock at night. It has been hard keeping up. I took a couple days of vacation last week, so I had the whole week off.

They won't let me go. Some silly nonsense about being too old!
The Army Recruitment Centre said the same thing when I applied to join a couple of months ago.
What's wrong with us pre-war babes that nobody wants us?
