When was the last time the Mc canns actually did something they said they were going to do?

So far we have had, we will never leave Portugal without Maddie.
there have been a couple of cases of we will sue this newspaper, still waiting on that to happen,
We will ahppily answer any further questions the Police have, have they bought return tickets to Portugal recently?

"Middenra",... it has become more than clear, for weeks now, that the McCanns had everything to do with the disappearance of their daughter... This is not an invention of the media.... this is not hatred of people like you and I. It is FACT.
I did not believe it at first but the McCanns themselves have inadvertently done everything for all of us to conclude nothing else but that they are as GUILTY as hell. To me the worst they did was to declare that they would NEVER leave Portugal until Maddie was found but when the PJ-GNR declared them 'arguidos' (official suspects) then fled the jurisdiction and by remote control, 1000-miles away, declared they would be please to answer any further questions. I BELIEVE the Portuguese Police who also believe they knew what happened to Maddie.
EDIT: I don't believe in what the tabloids say but I believe in the Portuguese Police and their line of enquiry. There is a distinction between the two.

I don't think this couple would know the truth anymore if it bit them on the nose, they are so far into the lies and denial.

I don't remember Sarah Paynes parents ever being made suspects.. I don't remember anyone even suspecting them.. the big difference with the Paynes and the McCanns, (for those who fail to see) is that we all have to let our children grow up, we try our utmost to make this as safe as possible, at eight years old children need a little freedom, we cannot and should not keep our children indoors and tied to our apron strings, otherwise what kind of adults would we be raising? The Paynes knew the area the children were playing in, and they made the decision to allow their children play out. TOTALLY different to going on the piss and leaving THREE BABIES in a country you know nothing about and in a unlocked apartment... for the sake of a night out with friends... do you see the difference??????????????????????????

You really are missing the point aren't you. A lot of people on here aren't 'McCann worshippers' as has been alleged, they simply want to see fair play. Until such time as there is hard evidence to the contrary, then the McCanns are innocent of any wrongdoing. It's not a matter of liking the McCanns or not, it's mostly about wanting to see fair play and justice, as well as finally finding out poor Maddie's fate. You may think your constant haranguing is clever because it makes you feel more intelligent than you actually are, but most normal (and by normal I mean 'man on the Clapham omnibus normal) are fed up to the back teeth of you and others (funny how there's always the same little clique giving thumbs down to 'the opposition' when anyone dares to challenge their opinion) having your rant about the same tired subject. Change the record.

Yahoo - This case has no comparison to Sarah Payne and you know it! The McCann's 'wittingly' put their children in danger, even though they claimed they thought they were being watched and that someone was 'hiding' in the apartment! No decent parent would out their children in this position and if you had an inkling your child was unsafe, to still do it, is beyond comprehension!

You got me there Midden..... can't think of anything .
Everything they say they are going to do is quickly followed by an excuse ......They were going to search for Maddy when they were in PDL but...ooops ! they were busy jogging and posing for smiley photos. They were going to take a lie detector but ..ooops ! The Pj wouldn't recognise it. They were going to return to Portugal but....ooops ! they will only go if their arguido status is taken away .... and the PJ won't do that .They were going to sue endless people but ...ooops! they were too busy attending a powwow with the rest of the Tapas gang.
This whole thing is a sordid fiasco which involves more people than we will ever know. Kate and Gerry are just 2 players in a much bigger game.

EDIT YAHOOYAHOO.. Sarah Payne's parents are a different kettle of fish altogether and shouldn't be put in the same class as these two lying, deceitful ,neglectful people.If you can't see the difference then I feel very sorry.
