I feel sorry for him especially when he said "as we know the chairmanship of this party is a position which is often occupied by martyrs" Its like the boy is willingly walking in to his own death. Its not right to shove him in this position straight after the death of his mother, he is emotionally vulnerable, which i think is why he's so willing to join the party knowing the great risk of death he is bestowing upon himself. He's too young, has a long future ahead of him, why ruin all the good he has going for himself by introducing him to politics and subsequently an early death? If they want to follow the will - then it said Bhutto wanted her husband to be chairman so why doesn't he just take full responsibility for the chairman position instead of being a co-chairmen, and put his three children under protection? Really to be completely fair a new chairmen should be elected by the members as opposed to handed down, and Bilawal should not be a candidate as he is too young.

Right now, I don't think he's capable of being the chairman of a very popular party in such a populated country. But I do believe that there's a real politician inside him but right now he need to polish himself and only concentrate on his study and then come into politics. Right now, thi job should be given to an old and experienced member of the party.
And I really hope and pray that this Bhutto doesn't get assassinated.

He is too young to be credible and merely reinforces the rumor that Bhutto's family is nothing more than a power crazed corrupt oligarchy member. A democracy is not based on ascension to power by familial ties so how does this further the cause of a true democratic state in Pakistan. Sounds very suspect to me and I am starting to question the BS being fed to us by the media.

This signifies that there is no inner party democracy in PPP and the way of hierarchical leadership to make a teenager as President of the party of a turbulent nation of 150 million people does shows how the people are adamant and influenced by the family oriented leadership in politics to decide their life and future of the nation!

No doubt it is really difficult for this man to survive in the midst of gripping terrible violence of Al-Quida and Taliban who are opposed to anything and everything done to satisfy the USA, including the popular referendum to restore the democracy!

i think sorry for the boy. there have been maximum of skilled human beings interior the Peoples party waiting to try this activity. yet why interior the call of god have they chosen a boy of nineteen doesnt his father love him. regrettably the way issues are going he would additionally be in for a quick era like his mom. His mothers killers would decide directly to do a similar to him. i think of its unfair and undemocratic to make harmless (stupid) human beings vote for a 19 365 days previous because of fact he's on the subject be counted of a kin of politicians. human beings of Pakistan could awaken and picture two times before the election day. i replaced into observing the information one mans words have been " we are able to purely vote for Benazirs son some human beings have problems with this occasion yet maximum folk dont. maximum folk could even vote for benazirs servants in the event that they have been to stand in this election" awaken human beings there are qualified politicians and there are qualified opticians you dont have your eyes examined via a n flesh presser.

I agree totally with you, Crazyness, I think he is a courageous young man who knows what he's up to, but you are right, he is too young to be chairman and he's taking the risk to be a next victim in Pakistan politics. That shouldn't happen.

Politics is a medium to propagate your ideology or to amass sleaz wealth. Bilala has no ideology of his own and he has sufficiemt wealth to lead his rest of life.
Besides Pakistan is not a place to practice your ideology any way. In fact no Muslim counery is.
