If your paint is in good shape and was recently waxed then yes it is OK. If your paint is in need of wax or is oxidized then no, you will need to polish and apply a liquid or paste wax. Spray waxes are more for maintaining than for all out waxing. You can try it but it probably won't last long.

spray on wax is only for detailing jobs and it will only last a couple of days. You need to use a good past wax or the new Turtle wax ICE I have had great results with this product I have a deeper gloss and the water beading and shine last far longer than with other products I have used. I would also try to use the liquid clay it is supposed to bring back the gloss of your paint with out removing too much clear coat.

Yes but paste wax is better. Thicker coat, longer lasting. better shine, ore protection against sun damage to paint.
