Neither I think it is the same disease the US has had all along the need to spread democracy everywhere. Just look at our history. They want to ensure trade so they want to make a stable government. This causes problems though because just because it works for us does not mean it will work there.

Its about oil, but thats only part of it. The war is about corportate profits for all kinds of companies, not just oil companies.

oil cause America dont got alot of it.........whats it has can be used only for like 12 more years but iraq has oil that can be used for almost 100 more years......but ofcourse there are more reasons......
