1. Review your maths from earlier stage. e.g. If you are primary 2 student, you need to review your primary 1 lesson.
2. If some topics you don't understand, you must ask your parents, your teachers or someone else.
3. After you are asking, suppose you understand what they teaches you. Then do more exercise for practising.
4. I think your maths will be improved.

First spend extra times and understand logic behind Associate, distribute and others forgotten principles. Next you need to practice.
If you have DVD at your disposal see if you can get instructional discs on Algeria produced by Standard Deviants at library. Don't suggest buying anything till you see if it is beneficial and you have the EXACT title to order.

Practice.
A good coach (i.e., tutor) can speed up your practice, but only if s/he is wise enough to HELP you through the rough spots rather than just DOING the problems for you.
