The great Pavorotti, will be greatly missed by all that enjoyed
his range of singing. I know my husband is pleased that he
has an album to listen to, especially now.
I will miss Betty Hutton, even tho, she hasn't made movies
since I was little. But I did get to see part of an interview she
gave on the old days before she died. She was still as happy
and personable in her old age, as she was when she was
young. And yet, she'd led a very unhappy life for the most
part after she'd given up acting. When I'm able to watch one
of her movies again, I will watch her more intently than I did
before and appreciate her comedy. I saw a picture of her
taken on an entertainment tour back when. And she was dressed in army boots and other gear, and a scarf over her blonde hair. She looked like she was having the time of her life, even tho, she had a bit of mud on her and was tromping
through it like the other soldiers around her. It's sad to know
that love alluded her and she was unable to have that to
make her life complete. And so she turned to the bottle for
awhile. But she overcame it, and straightened out her life.
But she never went back to the screen or stage. I guess she
felt she had no more to give.

I need to know someone a li'l more than I know any celebrity to miss them. Some past ones, that I will miss seeing anything new from them would be Chris Farley, John Candy, Richard Pryor, James Belushi, Jim Varney, Benny Hill and Jerry Clower.

I will truly miss hearing the new sounds of Pavarotti. Glad for the ability we have to listen to his music from CD.s He was such a wonderful tenor and so full of beautiful and joyous music. I remember when he was sick (during the Grammy awards) and the amazing Aretha Franklin sang in his place. The audience stood up and applauded for a long time.

Being a music lover, I will also miss England Dan Fogelberg. "Love, sweet love."

I was really fond of Charles Nelson Reilly, Yvonne De Carlo, Jane Wyman, Luciano Pavarotti and others, but I haven't seen most of them in years. I guess I missed them before they died. I lost a good friend last April. I really miss her, especially around the holidays.

I didn't know who'd died, but thanks to Harley Lady, now I do.

I'll miss Kurt Vonnegutt's books, though each of the last several he wrote he hinted or swore would be his last. Felt he had said everything he needed to. Kept thinking of things he'd forgotten, I suppose.

Deborah Kerr was a fine actress in her time, but I haven't seen her in a movie since Night of the Iguana. Wouldn't mind seeing it again sometime if I come across a copy somewhere, so's to assuage the pain of missing her so much since her and Richard Burton and Eva Gardner made the movie [though I haven't thought of her in several decades].
