most stores are open all day on ny eve. why?? b/c they are greedy and want your money, and you sound like the type of person who will give it to them.
ask the individual store for operating hrs. as for the mail, did you get mail on xmas??? on thanksgiving??? on july 4??? how about your birthday??? i bet you got mail on your birthday, b/c your birthday is not a holiday.
