I seldom do that but when I do the reasons vary. Sometimes I think a contact would find the question funny and interesting and give a much better and more humorous answer than I can. Sometimes I can't form a satisfactory answer yet, so I star it so I could come back for it. And sometimes I'm just too lazy to type! lol

I've done that when I thought it was a really good question that I didn't know the answer too. I star it so I can go to my starred questions later and read all the answers.

Couple reasons that I like to do it. First one is because I like the Q but someone else has answered with the same or similar answer as I would have (so why bother). Second reason is to alert my contacts, many of whom will see the star and peek in and answer it - and I'm always interested in what my contacts have to say!

first of all, 5 stars and 10 factors ought to bypass to YOU, for being so mature on your age. Your mom and dad have taught you the values of admire for others and kindness, besides. you will do properly in existence. confident, it rather is a shame that a public provider website like Yahoo! solutions has such distinctive respondents who're propose-lively, racist and likewise ignorant. countless the anwers make me very unhappy; others rather indignant. that's extremely annoying to me to be sure such hatred and lack of expertise expressed in direction of the Arab international, the place I stay (even although i'm an American). this does not bode properly for a non violent international. Immaturity and lack of expertise are bothersome, yet no longer as much as hate and racism. Please proceed to communicate out and not purely in this website. we prefer extra babies such as you. good success! playstation Asking stupid or beside the point questions could propose that somebody is lonely and needs to get some interplay going with others.....we can forgive this, i think of.

i do star without answering. on my other accounts it's because (1) they are my contact (2) i find the questions interesting (3) pass the question to my contacts. i disabled "allow me to be a contact" on this account. so, i'm just going off whatever peaks my interest. questions that have some kind of relevance to me but don't want to answer.

because some people just ask for a star so I just give them what they want and move on to the next silly question.

BTW I don't know what the big deal people make on not giving stars....it's not like it cost them anything.
