We've narrowed our name ideas down to a few for each gender, and we're finding out the the gender in 3 weeks, hopefully. Just wondering what you guys think sounds the nicest. I'm not due until Spring but we want to pick a name so we have time to make sure we really like it.

Boys
- Elijah Asaph Wong
(Asaph is a rare Hebrew name from the bible, it means "God accumulated; gatherer". Asaph (Ay-Saf) Asaph was King David's choir leader and was a talented poet and musician. He was the author of twelve Psalms. Just some background on the name because a lot of people have never heard it before.)
Elijah Jonathan Wong (Jonathan is my husband's middle name)
Elijah Lucas Wong
Elijah Levi Wong

Girl
Naomi Eleanor Wong (Eleanor is my beloved Grandmother's name - she passed away in 2002) Wong
Naomi Faith Wong
Naomi Rachael/Rachel Wong (not sure about spelling)
Naomi Alyssa Wong (Alyssa is my middle name)
Naomi Eleanor Faith Wong (Combining two middle names

I LOVE Naomi Eleanor -- both in general style and sound, and for the great personal meaning behind Eleanor! Just gorgeous, all around! None of the others even compare in my mind, given that. Lovely! ;)

From the boy list, while all are fine options, I prefer less expected Elijah Asaph -- which IS a great, underused Biblical name, I agree ;) -- or Elijah Levi (an equally spunky Biblical choice). Normally the repetitiveness of something *like* Elijah Levi would probably bother me slightly, but I've found I actually like the lilting sound of Levi paired with another prominent L-sound first name (I felt the same about Oliver Levi last night LOL). It just intrigues me. ;)

Hope that helps, and good luck choosing!

In order from favorite to least:
1.Elijah Asaph - i like the meaning behind it
2.Elijah Jonathan - it's always nice for the middle name to be after someone
3.Elijah Lucas - sounds good together
4.Elijah Levi- it's okay, but i personally wouldn't choose it

1.Naomi Eleanor Faith - again, i like how it is after somebody, and i think Faith flows nicely with the two
2. Naomi Eleanor - flows good
3. Naomi Alyssa - its your middle name, so it means something
4. Naomi Faith- flows nicely, beautiful middle name
5. Naomi Rachel- not much meaning, doesn't flow as well as the others, but i do like the name Rachel just not particularly with Naomi

you chose beautiful names, i've always loved the name Elijah.
hope i helped and good luck!!!

for a boy, I like Elijah Jonathan

for a girl, i like either Naomi Alyssa or Naomi Elanore. Or if you want 2 middle names, you could consider
Naomi Alyssa Elanore Wong, or find a way to combine the 2 names, like Naomi Elanyssa or Naomi Alynore.

First of all, wow, those names are beautiful. I love Elijah and Naoimi.
I like the Asaph middle name for a boy, because it's original and meaningful.
I like the Eleanor middle name for a girl because it's passing down your Grandmother's name, also it flows very nicely, her initials would be N.E.W. which is kind of cool I'd say.
Congradulations for your coming baby!
